Official Visit of District Chairman Manmohan Suri 

Jalandhar: The Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar held its monthly general meeting on 9th April, marked by the esteemed official visit of our dynamic District Chairman, Manmohan Suri under the leadership of President Punam Jagota and Secretary Inderkiran Toor. 
The regular meeting was preceded by a special executive meeting, which was chaired by the Honourable District Chairman and was  conducted as a part of the official protocol. After the formal collaring of the President and worthy Chairman,  the  worthy chairman reviewed the club records and appreciated the commendable work done by the members and shared valuable suggestions for future growth which were well received. The general meeting began with a warm floral welcome for our Chairman and PDCs were welcomed by flowerpots by Niru Chawla. The lamp-lighting ceremony was followed by Ganesh Vandana and welcome song  by Anju Sharma and Neelu Mohendru. The President and Secretary presented the project report, while the Treasurer Seema Arora shared financial details. MOC Kavita Jairath did an excellent job and Nidhi Sehgal read the biodata of the Honourable Chairman.New team for the coming year was announced. A vibrant Giddha performance by members was a highlight of the day. Address by the District Chairman, praising the club’s efforts and team spirit. The meeting was concluded by Vote of thanks by Vice President Anju Sharma and a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony. 
Projects Undertaken During Chairman’s Visit are as follows:
•    Two BIG GAS BURNERS, Two BIG Tawa burners to make chapatis, Two Floor mats, Sanitary pads for the girls, Semester school fees for 18 students, whole year fees for 8 students, Branded bags and mugs with Inner wheel logo were given to the teachers of the Mandi Fenton Ganj school.
•    3 Sewing Machines for girls to support self-employment.
•    Toiletries for Chanan Vocational Centre.
•    Donation to Animal Protection Home.
•    Cycle for a working woman.
•    Fees for 2 Student
•    Special Children’s Fees.
•    Inner Wheel Branding Board at Model Town.
•    35 T-shirts, Socks, & Refreshments for young athletes.
•    20 Bags & 20 Mugs with IWC logo were distributed.
The meeting was attended by 45 members including PDC Jagbans Toor, PDC Kumud Sehgal, PDC Asha Paul and PDC Adarsh Sood which was concluded on a highly successful note, leaving members inspired and motivated.
