In the upcoming weekend episodes, the iconic playback and classical singer Kavita Krishnamurthy will bring her musical brilliance to the theatre round as a guest judge.
But it was contestant Menuka Poudel from Nepal who left the judges emotional with her soulful voice. Made of dreams, hopes and aspirations, Menuka is visually impaired, but she hopes to achieve great feats in life. With a supportive family by her side, the contestant shined from the very beginning during the theatre round. But before starting her performance, Meenuka, who is a self-proclaimed shopaholic, will present each judge with a beautiful shawl and she stuns the judges by singing, ‘Tumhne Dekhti Hoon’ from the film, Jaidev, leaving them teary eyed.
Complimenting her performance, Judge Vishal Dadlani says, "You have a powerful voice and your voice epitomises music's power. You are unaware of your strength and how it inspires us all."
Kavita Krishnamurthy, who agrees with Vishal, says, "I pray that God is always with you, and you inspire us a lot."
Will Menuka have impressed the judges enough to secure her place in the Top 15?
