On Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Anjali Anand's ‘Circuit’ Performance makes Arshad Warsi emotional 

This weekend will see Sony Entertainment Television’s celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, welcoming renowned choreographer and dance expert, Marzi Pestonji. As a special guest judge,Marzi will not only lend his expertise to the contestants but also issue a unique challenge for them with the 'Teen Ka Tadka' theme. Each celebrity will be teamed up with their original choreographer and a guestchoreographer from the industry to perform spectacular dance routines that make an impression on the viewers and judges. 

Anjali Anand, known for her stellar performances both on-screen and on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s stage will create an electrifying vibe with her jhakaas performance on the pulsating track ‘Phatela Jeb’, with her choreographer Danny Fernandes and celebrity choreographer, Ruel Dausan Varindani. The trio will pay a heartwarming tribute to the iconic character ‘Circuit’, from ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’, leaving none other than the original Circuit, Arshad Warsi, emotional.

Moved by the performance, Judge Arshad Warsi said, “You get a little emotional when you see certain things. There's an effort, a courage that you put into your hard work, and you don't give up; you keep fighting, which I have seen Anjali do all the time. I find that quality very admirable—she doesn't accept defeat. It makes me feel good. After getting into movies, there came a point I didn't have work for almost three years. But after that, Munna Bhai MBBS happened and there was no looking back. I believe in the fact that if you genuinely have talent, then no one can undermine you; if you are genuinely hardworking, and if you don't give up, which I see in Anjali all the time. That's why I feel good; she doesn't give up.”

Impressed by the performance, Judge Malaika Arora said, “There was an authentic flavor in your performance. It didn't seem like you were trying too hard or making an extra effort to impress. Of course, hard work was evident, but you were so seamless that it didn't feel like the three of you had just met. It felt like you had been together from the start, and there was no sense that something different was happening here. So, this 'Teen Ka Tadka' flavor had the authentic taste of 'Teen Ka Tadka' without a doubt. Anjali, you were very effortless, and you truly have that fighting spirit, and I love that spirit about you. It was so much fun—there were cool movements, swag, comedy, entertainment; everything was there”.
