In its 16th season, Amitabh Bachchan hosted, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ on Sony Entertainment Television has been engaging viewers with some heartwarming stories revolving around the hotseat players and also highlights the many unknown facets of megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s life. In the upcoming episodes, viewers will meet contestant Neha from Budhlada, Punjab who has completed her master’s and now aspires to be a soldier.

In a conversation with Amitabh Bachchan, Neha talks about her fitness routine at length and mentions her aspirations to be a soldier in the Indian army. Neha says that every citizen of this country is worthy of joining the army and goes on to ask Amitabh to talk about his experience playing an army officer in notable Bollywood movies. He shares, “The first thing that I find appealing about the army is their uniform. Just wearing the uniform can change the atmosphere; it instils a sense of discipline and seriousness in how tasks are approached. I’ve often said that every individual should spend three to four months in the army just to experience the training. In the army, you learn what patience truly means. It prepares us for any situation that may arise in the country, ensuring we are ready to fight if necessary. I believe everyone should consider joining the army. If the opportunity ever arises.” He then ends by saying that if given a chance, he would willingly join the army.

Amitabh Bachchan further adds, “We have legendary athletes like Dhoni and Sachin, who are invited to join the army. It’s a matter of pride and honor for them to be recognized and chosen for such a role. In the past as well, there were many artists, like Sunil Dutt ji, Nargis Dutt ji and more, who used to create shows to entertain the soldiers. This was back in the '60s and '70s when soldiers had little access to entertainment. He would bring his entire crew to perform for those who were away from home, providing them with a much-needed chance to unwind.”
