On KBC 16, Amitabh Bachchan Shares How He Recently Learned Computer Shortcuts, With a Fun Twist

This week on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, hosted by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan on Sony Entertainment Television, viewers will see Anurag Chourasia from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh grace the hotseat. Anurag works in the government sector, where he plays a role in providing farmers with job opportunities under the MNREGA scheme, helping them earn a livelihood.

When Amitabh Bachchan asks him about recent innovations in technology, Anurag shares his passion for staying updated on new developments. During their conversation, Anurag shares that he spends most of his time tracking the latest gadgets, their prices, and specifications. “Whenever my co-workers or friends get stuck with something, they call me for help. For them, I am like a technical expert,” he says.

Curious, Anurag asks Mr. Bachchan, “Whenever you need to buy a gadget or get stuck, don’t you also reach out to someone for help?” Amitabh Bachchan humorously replies, “Not just one person, but many people. There isn’t just one, there are 5-6 people. The irony is that when I need help, I want an urgent solution but the problems always arise after midnight, around 12-1 AM.” The audience bursts into laughter. He continues, “I’ve gotten smarter now and chosen people who don’t sleep before 3 AM, some from my family itself – jaise pota-poti hai, Abhishek ji hai. And I always want to understand how it works. Why can’t I do it?" They tell me, ‘Aapki umar ho gayi hai, aap ghar baithiye – hum batayenge aapko.’. With a smile, Mr. Bachchan adds, “I’m saying this because I want your number before you leave. If you start getting hiccups around midnight or 1 AM, just know I’m thinking of you!”

Anurag shares that if he wins the prize money, he plans to build a beautiful home. His dream is to have a jacuzzi in his house, a luxury he's always aspired to have in his life. As he gears up to tackle the 50 lakh rupee question, will his technical expertise and determination take him one step closer to his dream?
