On MP Arora’s directives, NHAI clears 95-percent debris from service lanes along Elevated road project
Following the directions of Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has cleared 95-percent of construction debris from service lanes along the elevated road project on Ludhiana-Ferozepur four lane highway.
Ludhiana, September 3, 2022: Following the directions of Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has cleared 95-percent of construction debris from service lanes along the elevated road project on Ludhiana-Ferozepur four lane highway.
Arora had held a meeting with district administration and NHAI officials on August 26 and orders to complete the process within a week.
Expressing satisfaction over the progress, MP said that commuters travelling along the elevated road on Ludhiana-Ferozepur four lane highway were harried a lot due to careless attitude of executive agencies due to lying of construction waste on the service lanes but now NHAI had taken speedy action to resolve the issues without any inordinate delay. He said that NHAI also sprinkled water during the process to avoid dust pollution.
He assured that now the debris have been cleared and so all the service lanes along this project would be made operational for vehicular traffic, resulting in ease in traffic congestion on Ferozepur Road.
MP said that he would meet NHAI Chairman on September 6 to discuss the various road infrastructure projects being executed by authority.
NHAI Project Director Krishan Sachdeva assured that the construction waste is being removed during night hours so that commuters do not face any kind of difficulty while travelling on the stretch in day time.
