Ludhiana, December 16, 2022: CICU with the support of the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India organized 2 days Exhibition on Industrial & Office Automation from 16th Dec to 17th Dec, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 05:30 PM at Sohan Lal Pahwa Auditorium, CICU Complex, Phase-V, Focal Point, Ludhiana.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Virinder Sharma, Director, MSME DFO, Ludhiana, Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU, Kundan Lal, Deputy Director. Krishan Kumar, Assistant Director MSME DFO, Ludhiana, S.B Singh, Joint Secretary, Didarjit Singh, Vice President, Honey Sethi, Legal Secretary, Satinder Singh Barnala, Vice president, Satinder Singh Autom, Vice President, Narinder Bhamra and visited the exhibition.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU mentioned that 2 days expo aims to promote the local Industry and to display their Latest Technologies to improve Productivity and Quality. More than 40 types of MSMEs from different sectors showcase their latest products and technologies and more than 1200 visited the exhibition.

On the same day, an awareness session on GeM Portal was conducted by Amit Sharma, Director-VAST Group. He gave a presentation on Gem Portal i.e. Govt. Tender or Govt. Supplies. He interacted with the participants regarding the problem area faced by them. He also informed about MSMEs 25% quota fixed for MSME sector. Govt. of India. 1 Lack crore rupees purchased has been done by all Govt. Department & PSU. Ramesh Kumar, FTDO-DGFT also gave a session on Export Policies for MSMEs.
