A person arrested with countrymade pistol and 5 live cartridges in Ferozepur.

Ferozepur, February 2, 2013: One person with countrymade pistol has been arrested by City Police and registered a case against him.
Jagdish Lal, SHO said that ASI Bikram Singh along with his team was patrolling to nab the suspicious persons and a person coming on a scooter near village Gadhriwala in Zira Tehsil, was stopped by them.
On searching, one country-made 12 bore pistol and five live cartridges were recovered from him.
The arrested person has been identified as Davinder Singh son of Jaswinder Singh resident of village Phero.
The court has given a remand for one day to investigate into the matter.
