One booked for tearing off constable’s uniform on duty

Ferozepur, December 26, 2012:  The Lakho Ke Behram police station in Ferozepur have booked one person identified as Jaswinder Singh for allegedly tearing off the uniform of an on duty Head Constable Amrik Singh.

According to the sources, the police had called one Ranjha Singh and some other persons, for investigation, in connection with theft of some wooden logs at about 6 PM. Jaswinder Singh who was standing on the gate of the police station asked as to why Ranjha Singh has been called in the police station.

On this, Jaswinder, allegedly tore off the uniform of the head constable following which a case was registered against him under Sections 353,186,294,506 of IPC. 

No arrest has been made so far.
