ONE BOOKED under NDPS Act

Ferozepur, January 19, 2013: The Narcotic Cell, Ferozepur Police claimed to have arrested one person and recovered 500 gram  heroin from his possession, the value of which in the international market is Rs.2.50 crore.

Giving this information, DSP Vibhore Sharma said, a police team headed by Hardev Singh in-charge Narcotic Cell, Ferozepur during their patrolling on link road Pir Ke of village Ichhe Wala, suspected person was arrested and on searching, heroine in one envelope was recovered from his possession weighing 500 gram. 

During the preliminary investigation, the arrested person has been identified as Manpreet Singh of village Satiawala who has been booked under NDPS Act.
