ONE DAY Inter State North Zone Himachal beat J&K

Dharamsala, February 19, 2013: Himachal defeated  J and K by 73 runs in Vijay Hazare one dayer league at Nadoun on Tuesday . Batting first HP scored 248/9 in50 overs   at the run rate of  4.96. the top scorers were A S Chopra 72in 103balls , R R Dhawan   37in 30 and Dhruv Singh 27 of 26. For J&K Z A Sofi took 4 wickets for 62, Ramdyal Punia claimed 3 for 41, and star bowler Rasool Parvez just one.

While chasing J&K  lost all of its wickets just for  175 in 42overs at the run rate of  4.17, with the help of W M Paray’s  unbeaten  52 in 78 balls with 3 boundaries. With good efforts of 25 by Ahmed Omer and 35 by ram dayal punia . for Himachal Rahul Singh was the leading wicket taker ,who  took 4 for 37 and dhruv singh and karan veer   claimed two wickets each.
