A-One Institute bags the GBP Box Cricket League trophy

Chandigarh: The Season-2 of the GBP Box Cricket League (BCL) concluded with the A-One Institute emerging as the overall winner. The tournament was organized by Sportsaga on the grounds of Strike Chandigarh, behind the Lake. The winner team was given a cash prize of Rs 11,000, while the runner up team got Rs 5,100 via the Payzapp of HDFC Bank.

Piya Kohli, director, Sportsaga said, “As planned the experience was superb this time also. I wish all the very best for the winners and expect to hold the season 3 at a bigger level."

More than 20 corporate companies participated in the tournament. The event was supported by GBP (Gupta Builders & Promotors) Group and was powered by the new Mahindra Marazzo, while the banking partner for this event was HDFC Bank.

Achievers vs Aone Institute
Achievers batting first set a target of 45/2 (6 Overs) and in reply A One was able to get pass the target in 5 overs with a loss of just 1 wicket.

A One Institute won by 4 Wickets.

HDFC Bank vs Jalandhari Devilzz
HDFC batting first scored 44/4 (6 overs) and in reply Jalandhari Devilzz managed to get 33/2 (6.0 overs)
HDFC Bank won by 11 runs

Final
A-One Institute vs HDFC Bank
A-One Institute claims the title in Super Over. After winning the toss HDFC managed to score 58 in 6 overs and in reponse A-One could also manage 58. The match went into Super Over where A-One Institute managed to defend 7 runs and as a result they won the final match by 2 runs.
