One more covid positive in Kangra district

Dharamshala: DC Kangra, Rakesh Prajapati informed that one more corona positive has been detected in the district this morning. Prajapati said, “One lady 24 years working in a software firm in Mumbai returned home in village Ghurkari of Kangra on 9th May along with 2 family members and 1 more passenger from Nadaun in taxi from Mumbai. The taxi returned back the same day.”
DC further said that they all started on 7th from Mumbai and reached on 9th May here. She was put under home quarantine immediately. She turned symptomatic on 12th and sample was collected on 13th. She turned positive today.
Chief Medical Officer Gurdarshan Gupta added in it, “She self-reported her symptoms due to which she was tested. Now, her general condition is within normal limits.”
With this the total number of positive cases registered in the district raised to 17, out of which 5 have been recovered and one died (an America returned Tibetan).
