One nabbed with arms and ammunition by CI
The counter intelligence wing of Punjab police have nabbed a noted gangster and have recovered three pistols (one Glock pistol, One Berreta pistol 30 mm, one pump action gun), 141 cartridges (9 mm,12 bore, 30 bore), 45 gram of heroin and a swift car.

Ferozepur, March 2, 2025: The counter intelligence wing of Punjab police have nabbed a noted gangster and have recovered three pistols (one Glock pistol, One Berreta pistol 30 mm, one pump action gun), 141 cartridges (9 mm,12 bore, 30 bore), 45 gram of heroin and a swift car.
While divulging details, AIG (CI) Lakhbir Singh said that following the inputs, the CI sleuths had launched a special operation near Panj Grai Kalan in Fardikot during which the accused Hardeep Singh alias Deepa, a resident of Ghall Khurd village in this border district was nabbed.
“During the preliminary investigation, it came to fore that the accused was in touch with Pakistani agencies, and the weapons were sourced from across the border for criminal activities”, said AIG adding that a FIR has been registered at PS State Special Operation Cell, Fazilka under sections 21,25,61,85 of NDPS Act and 25,54,59 of Arms Act (FIR No. 5 Dated 01.03.2025).
