Dharamsala, December 7, 2023: Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi announced that preparations are underway to commemorate the one-year anniversary of “Vayvastha parivartan”, the system change program.
A meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, with the district administration and key officials in attendance. The meeting, held in the auditorium of the Deputy Commissioner's office complex, included Agriculture Minister Prof. Chaudhary Chandra Kumar, MLAs Sudhir Sharma, Kewal Singh Pathania, Malendra Rajan, Chief Minister K. Advisor Sunil Bittu, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nipun Jindal, SP Shalini Agnihotri, and officials from various departments.
As part of the one-year celebration of the current state government, a state-level function themed 'One Year of System Change' is scheduled to take place at Police Ground, Dharamshala in Kangra district on December 11, 2023. The event is expected to host central leadership from the Congress party. Minister Jagat Singh Negi emphasized the importance of organizing the function smoothly with minimal inconvenience to the general public.
Minister Negi directed officials to complete all necessary arrangements on time to ensure the successful organization of the function. He emphasized the need to provide facilities and coordinate with various departments to address security, drinking water, electricity supply, cleanliness, mobile toilets, and other essential aspects. The police department was specifically instructed to make concrete arrangements for smooth traffic flow, parking, and overall security.
MLA Kewal Singh Pathania estimated that around thirty thousand people from across the state would participate in the grand event in Dharamshala. Reflecting on the past year, he highlighted that the government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, had pledged to make Himachal self-reliant by combining power with social service. The government's one-year tenure has witnessed significant developments and new dimensions of progress. The event on December 11 marks the culmination of the government's first year in power, symbolizing the commitment to positive change and development in Himachal Pradesh.
