Online celebrations of Karwa Chauth at Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions
The students participated in the activities enthusiastically and showcased their talent in all three disciplines
Jalandhar: With an objective to enlighten the students with significance of Indian festivals, Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions celebrated Karwa Chauth week virtually with full zeal. On this occasion three activities Thali Making, Nail Art and Mehendi Competition were organized. The students participated in the activities enthusiastically and showcased their talent in all three disciplines.
In Thali Making Competition participants decorated the thalis with kumkum, roli, chandan, flowers, fruits, sweets, diya and karwa filled with water which added colors to the festival. In Nail Art Competition participants adorned the nails with glowing nail paints and trendy nail art designs. The Participants created Arabic, Indian, Western, Pakistani, Indo –Arabic Mehndi designs in Mehendi Competition. Each participant was excited during the competition.
Dr. Shailesh Tripathi(Group Director, IHGI) congratulated the winners of all the events and motivated the students and stated that festivals are the way to celebrate rich culture and tradition of India. It plays a vital role to connect with our families, rejoice the emotions and create harmony with nature.
