Online e-filing of invoices: Industrialists and traders decide to continue agitation

Ludhiana, August 11, 2012: A meeting of All Industry and Trade Forum abd Vyopaar Mandal held here today for deciding the further strategy of protest against the online e-filing of invoices.

It is decided to take appropriate legal action against such unlawful notification as the PSPCL issue orders to close down factories from 3 to 4 days under such circumstances. The meeting observed that such notifications are illegal and uncalled for. The meeting also felt that this notification was clearly an infringement of fundamental rights.

It has also been decided to meet all the ministers and MLAs of Punjab to make a consensus against such notification.

The meeting was told that it was learnt from reliable sources that the notification had been deferred/ withheld for one month.

But, the body decided that it would continue its agitation till this notification got deferred,

The meeting, among others, was attended by Narinder Bhamra, Badish Jindal, Sunil Mehra, Raj Kumar Singla, Jaswant Singh Birdi, MohinderAggarwal, Iqbal Singh Kathuria, Jatinder Singh, Sushil Jain, Aman Gupta, Bhushan Abbi, Chander Mohan Gupta and Naresh Sachdeva.
