Chandigarh: An online workshop on ‘Moving Forward Towards NAAC 2022” was conducted by the University Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management, Panjab University, Chandigarh on 13.07.2020 at 11.00 am for its faculty members as well as non-teaching staff. Prof. Ashish Jain, Director, IQAC, Panjab University was key Speaker of this workshop. The workshop was very informative. All the faculty and staff members participated actively. The main focus of the workshop was on the 7 parameters on which NAAC evaluates a University/Department. Prof. Jain showed the status of UIHTM in relation to NAAC and stressed upon the various key parameters on which the department can improve/innovate. He appreciated the efforts of Dr. Anish Slath, Director, UIHTM in taking a keen interest in organizing such workshop. The concluding remarks of the workshop was to focus upon documentation of any activity that a department holds, so that the same can be presented as an evidence in front of NAAC Committee.
