Ludhiana, July 31, 2014: Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) will distribute Rs.20,77,801 to the delegates who visited Print-13 at Chicago (USA). The grant-in-aid to the effect is received from the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. These delegates visited Print-13 exhibition at Chicago, USA in the month of September, 2013 under International Cooperation Scheme. A group of 28 printers from India visited the show under the banner of Offset Printers Association (OPA).
Speaking on the occasion, Kamal Chopra, General Secretary OPA said, “The distribution ceremony of this Grant-in-aid will be organised on 12th October, 2014 at Ludhiana. This ceremony will be held under the auspices of MSME and some senior person will be invited as Chief Guest for the purpose”.
Giving details Chopra said, OPA has already distributed approx. 1.2 crore to the printers for visiting various international exhibitions and it is eighth time that OPA is once again going to distribute the amount. Perhaps OPA is the only association in India to utilise the scheme for the overall benefit of the printers of India, Chopra added.
