Ludhiana: Just to streamline the working and for providing better services to the Industry of the district, Offset Printers’ Association provided a set of Computer and Laser Printer to the District Industry Centre, Ludhiana. 

The office of the General Manager, District Industry Centre, Ludhiana is determined for the growth and development of trade and industry of the district. When it was noticed that for the better service to the industry more computer and printers are required, OPA came forward to provide Desktop Computer and Laser Printer.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Parveen Aggarwal, President OPA appreciated the industry government relations developed by the GM DIC. He said, any progress is possible and Punjab can become the top industrial hub if government authorities continue supporting the industry. These are the days of networking and progress is possible only if Govt and Industry may start working together, industry may understand the limitations of the government and on the other hand Government must take care the challenges of the industry. Giving an example, he said we are far away from the port and the transport cost to reach the port for export is too high these days, if government can provide a solutions and start bearing the transport cost from the state to the port the export from Punjab can reach new heights. 

Mr. Rakesh Kumar Kansal, GM, DIC Ludhiana while thanking OPA for its gesture said my services are always available for the promotion of trade and industry. The District Industry Centre is there to support and find solutions to the industry challenges. He emphasised on cluster development and invited suggestions for the improvement in the working of DIC. While thanking the GM, DIC, Ludhiana, Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra assured full support from OPA and said, jointly with the determined efforts of both the industry and the state can prosper.
