Open Air Gym Inaugurated at GH-2, PU

Chandigarh, March 6, 2019: Prof.Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh inaugurated Open Air Gym at Girls Hostel No. 2 in the presence of Prof.Emanual Nahar, Dean Student Welfare, Prof.Neena Capalash, Dean Student Welfare(Women) and Wardens of various hostels and students.
PU VC in his address stressed on the need of giving importance to health in today’s stressful times. He asserted that students are the first priority for the University and will take all necessary steps to provide all possible facilities to the students. He gave away awards to various winners of the competitions held by the hostel which included quiz in which Monika from UILS was the winner, Kamakshi from UILS in essay writing, Divya from UILS in pot decoration and Shanky & Sheetal from UILS in poster making competition.
Prof. Kamla, Warden of Girls Hostel No. 2 in her welcome address expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for all support in the setup of the Gym in this hostel.
