Open house vc meeting with DGFT Amit Yadav
More than75 star exporters of the region have participated
Ludhiana: Office of Additional DGFT, Ludhiana organized meet with leading exporters of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh with Shri Amit Yadav, Director General of Foreign Trade.
Shri Vijay Kumar, Additional Director General of Foreign Trade and Shri Praveen Kumar, Director, Ministry of Commerce have also participated in the programme.
More than 75 star exporters of the region have participated.
Shri Ashok Sethi (Rice Exporters Association) raised exporters problem related to Iran and lines of credit. He highlighted infrastructure problems in Punjab and transportation cost.
Shri Ashwani Kumar, Northern Regional Chairman of FIEO, raised issue related to risky exporters list issued by customs department, transport cost problem, and availability of container problem in region.
Shri Dinesh from PHARMAXIL raised the issue related to pharma industries. He has requested DGFT to modify guidelines about pharma industry for registered source of input.
Shri Rajiv Chopra from Vardhamaan Industries highlighted issue or textile industry specifically deletion of average export obligation in EPCG. He also demanded extension of MEIS upto 2021.
Shri Tushar Jain, EEPC raised issue ever increasing steel price in Engineering industry.
DGFT, Shri Amit Yadav in reply assured all the exporters to protect their interest in coming new Foreign Trade Policy. He assured industry that RoDTEP scheme will be launched soon.
DGFT also assured to increase automation, digitalization in scheme implementation. He also directed officials to start Video Conference to meet exporters.
Shri Praveen Kumar, Director from Ministry of Commerce assured exporters to raise issue at different level especially related to Iran and Rice Exporters.
