OPENING CEREMONY OF 64TH NATIONAL SCHOOL GAMES WOODBALL

Talent Wins Games ,But Teamwork and Intelligence Win Championships

Ferozepur, January 28, 2019: The much awaited 64th National Sports Woodball Championship was inaugurated the at ‘Vivekananda World School’, Ferozepur on Monday.

It was a much sought after event of this year and its gala opening ceremony started with a great zeal and fervor.

The programme began on the melodious role of welcome song, sung by Vivekanandans .

The honorable Chief Guest Parminder Singh (Pinki),MLA ,Ferozepur accompanied by Kanwardeep Singh, Divisional Forest Officer, Ferozepur, addressed the mega rally of teams participating in the competition, followed by the welcome note by Director Dr. S.N.Rudra , Vivekananda World School who in his address not only welcomed the distinguish guests but also wish good luck to the participants arrived from 13 states of India including Assam, Tengana, Chattisgarh, New Delhi, Haryana, Gujraat and Utter Pradesh etc.

The players entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the “Oath” administered by the coach.

Vote of Thanks was extended by Amarjit Singh Bhogal, executive member woodball Association of Punjab.

The various dignitaries Mrs.Prabha Bhaskar (Patron In Chief) ,Mrs.Dolly Bhaskar , Mr.Gaurav Sagar Bhaskar (Chairman VWS),DFO Kanwardeep Singh ,Mr.Kuldeep Mishra, Mr.Harsh Monga (Social Worker),Mr.Ashok Behal, Mr.Mek Mittal(DEO Secondary), Deputy DEO Mr.Pargat Singh Brar, AEO Mr.Gurinder Singh Brar,Mr.Amarjit Singh Bhogal ,Mr.Sarbjit Singh (coordinator Nehru Yuva Kendra), Mr. Amrik Singh (Secratary Woodball Association of Punjab ),Mr.Shallinder Bhalla , Mr.Ajay Joshi, Mr.Shushil Kumar, Mr.Mandeep Kumar, President Press Club were also present in the ceremony.
