Opinion polls upsetting future plans of political parties and its leaders
The political campaigning in the five states Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram where assembly elections are in progress has heated up. Series of allegations on each other are at its peak to register their respective win in these assembly elections by political leaders. Political pandits are projecting their surveys / opinion polls but Indian voters are very intelligent as they know to whom they are going to vote and which political leader / political party can do better for them. The goodwill of the senior political leaders, are on stake because if they win it will prove their popularity but if they lost then it may prove to be a big question mark on their future strategies or can face political isolation / political waterloo. These assembly polls are being held just few months before the general elections to the parliament and are considered to be of great significance.
RESULTS OF COMING ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS
Will the results of coming assembly elections reflect on the parliament elections? To my opinion it is “no”, because in the assembly elections the focus of the voters is on regional / state issues. The regional parties also field their candidates and with the division of votes the results are always uncertain that which party can win with majority or a hung assembly is witnessed and change of loyalties / coalition government can be formed but in the parliament elections the voters first consider “Nation First”. In the current world over scenario the world is witnessing number of changes in the international relations between one nation to other. The use of destructive material such as rockets, bombs, missiles etc. and sophisticated weapons are being used in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine and Israel and Hamas. if atomic power is used in the current war in coming days them it may lead to heavy destruction which one have never even imagined.
PROBLEM OF STUBBLE BURNING
The Union / State Government have announced incentives for the farmers to refrain from stubble burning which pollutes the environment. It is up to the farmers to refrain from burning of stubble to keep the ecological balance intact and pollution free environment. The polluted environment is always a threat towards the health of those who are asthmatic / allergic patients or suffering from other health problems. Similarly, in the festival season specially during Diwali large number of crackers are burnt.
