Recently Two branches of Orchids The International School (OIS) from Bengaluru have been awarded at the India K12 Awards 2022 organized by Eldrok India in the city.
Bengaluru: Recently Two branches of Orchids The International School (OIS) from Bengaluru have been awarded at the India K12 Awards 2022 organized by Eldrok India in the city. Eldrok India is an organization that provides a platform for educationists, thought leaders, policymakers, and experts from think tanks around the world to aid the development of the education sector.
The Mysore branch of Orchids The International School received the Education Excellence award under the category ‘Imparting Holistic Education for Personality Growth’, and OIS Panathur branch received the award for ‘Excellence in cognitive learning skills’.
While receiving the award, Sakina Qasin Zaidi, Vice President (Academics), Orchids The International School said, “We are immensely proud to receive two awards from Eldrok India. We, at OIS, have always put in our best efforts to bring Holistic programmes that are focused on giving students outlets to explore and foster their creativity. Leena Pascal represented Orchids The International School as a panelist and shared her view on the ‘Shift in the K12 Learning Paradigm : Blended, Flipped and Experiential Learning’. Leena Pascal articulated the role of technology in K12 learning and urged educators to emphasize integrated learning in the Education system.
OIS has received several accolades and recognitions for its recently launched initiative, ‘Financial Literacy Program’. It has implemented STEM education at an early stage through its robotics curriculum. The school chain has a special wing called ‘Soch’ to address students’ mental health-related issues.
