ORDERS: Mention name and designation on files

Chandigarh, November 16, 2012: The Punjab Government has issued orders to all Financial Commissioners/Administrative Secretaries and   Principal Secretaries to mention their names and designations on files to be sent to Chief Minister for approval.

According to an official spokesman, it has been come to the notice of Chief Minister that some files were not containing the names and designations of the concerned officers while on some files there were no space has been left by the officers for noting. He said that according to fresh directions now the concerned officers, who would send the files for CM's approval, would also clearly mention their names and designations respectively. He also said that at least 1/3 space on the noting page should be available for the orders, necessary directions and signatures of the Chief Minister.
