A mixture of colourful and flavourful spices, ingredients and recipes, Foodhall promises food connoisseurs a culinary expedition through the Oriental food trail. This 5th June to 5th July 2015, venture into a world filled with Oriental tastes with a variety that extends beyond the traditional Chinese into Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese and Korean.


With innovation and creativity being the driving force behind Foodhall’s live kitchens, this Oriental Food Festival will rustle up culinary favourites like Sesame Soba Noodles and Thai Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Sauce, Sautéed Greens in Basil and Chili Sauce! Customers will be spoilt for choice with Foodhall’s extensive range of dips & sauces, straight from Asian lands - Red Thai Curry Paste, Green Thai Curry Paste, Khao Suey Paste, Chili Jaggery Sauce, Tamarind Dipping Sauce, Peanut Dipping Sauce and Japanese Mayonnaise. Fruits are used in an innovative manner in salad recipes like Som Tam Salad (green papaya salad), Raw Mango Saladand Thai Pomelo (Grapefruit) Salad.


Offering more to the taste buds of the customers is the Foodhall’s cafe menu - Red Thai Curry with Jasmine Rice, Green Thai Curry with Jasmine Rice, Tofu Satay with Peanut Sauce, Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce. A live Thai Wok will assemble the best flavours of East Asia – Vegetarian Tom Kha Soup, Chicken Tom Yum Soup with homemade fresh pasta such as Fresh Egg Noodles, Whole Wheat Egg Noodles, Flat Rice Noodles and Japanese Soba Noodle.


Foodhall offers all the essential herbs, spices and necessary accompaniments in Asian cooking, for example - Sichuan Peppercorn, Dried Thai Basil, Bird Eye Chili, Dried Galangal, Lemongrass and Red & Green Thai Curry Paste.
