Orientation Programme held at GKU

Talwandi Sabo, August 8, 2014: An Orientation Programme to welcome new students admitted to various courses for the session 2014-15 organised at Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo. The Programme conducted in the Central Auditorium at GKU Campus where all the new admitted students welcomed.
To welcome the new students Dr.N.S.Malhi, Vice-Chancellor stated various points to the students which will help the students during the course of their studies. He also laid emphasis on the research aspect under the higher education which is possible only because of highly qualified faculty and the infrastructure available in the Campus. He also shared that in the short span of time GKU touched the heights in all the Technical, Non-Technical and Research related aspects. With the help of good placement the students of GKU are having active participation in the development of Nation.
On this Occasion Sukhraj Singh Sidhu, Managing Director was also present to bless and to motivate the students. He also congratulated the all the staff members associated with Admission Cell for the successful conduction of admission process.
Satish Goswami, Registrar explained about academics related important dates and other points which will help the students at various stages of their studies.
Dr. D.R.Godara, Dean Students Welfare explained about all the rules and regulation for staying in hostels & for the Campus which will help to maintain the discipline in the Campus. Old students performed various cultural items to welcome the new student which hails from different states of the Nation.
Apart from the other all Dean/ Director/ Principals & faculty members were also present on this occasion.
