Chandigarh, August 22, 2024: An Orientation Seminar for M.Sc. 1st Year Students was organized by the Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh today.
Introductory speech was given by Prof. Narinder Kumar, Chairperson, Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh. A welcome speech was given by M.Sc. 2nd students. An introduction of teaching staff, non-teaching staff and research scholars of the Department was also included in the presentation.
Further information about Panjab University guidelines including attendance, anti-ragging, tuition/examination fees, scholarship, library as well as hostel rules and regulations were discussed.
Success rate of placement cell of Department was briefly discussed. Word of advice to 1st year students was given by teaching faculty of the Department.
