Our strength is our unity, says JP Nadda

Dharamshala: National President of the BJP JP Nadda said that all the political parties right from the J&K to the South most are the family-based parties whereas BJP is the party- our family. “It is not easy to create a membership of over 18 crore people. None other political party has a power to even reach near this number. So when we say `koi nahi hae takkar meein’ is not false’”, said Nadda.

Addressing the BJP working committee meet in Dharamshala on Thursday, JP Nadda said that we are lucky that we are the members of a right party. It is because of the collective efforts and scientific growth. Is the cultural nationalism and we have to take cultural nationalism is to be pursued.

He said that Antoday is one of the economic models of BJP, which was developed to be sab ka saath, sab ka vikas, saabka vishwas. “And these three elements are there in all schemes of the government,” said Nadda, adding, “Our strength is our unity and we should make self-assessment and self-understanding regularly for our own growth in the party.”

“We are with a mass organisation & cadre-based organisation, which is also our strength. Most accepted personality of the world, Narendra Modi belongs to BJP and is the leader of the country”, said Nadda.

He said that panna parmukh model a booth based model given by HP, is now known as Himachal model on polling booth stage. Now, Himachal has to go far panna committees till 2022 and Himachal should also take lead in it. He said BJP offices shall be constructed in every district.

While Modi was working with utmost care in this pandemic era, Himachal BJP also proceeded with service work, 5,16,500 food packets across the state, dry ration to 1,13,974 families, 22,97,695 masks, with the relief amount of 1,92,16,801 in PM Care Fund and 8,49,86,998 in CM Relief Fund, these service works have been compiled in e-book up to mandal level. Till date virtual meetings were organized in which dialogue was established from state level to panna chief. BJP had held about 9500 meetings before this working committee. “Not only this you worked at a time when almost all the political parties gone down to lockdown, risking your own life during the pandemic”, said Nadda. He said that Modi taught us that necessity is the mother of invention and asked us to come out to help the needy. Modi has fought the war against pandemic from the front. The big /powerful nations with heavy health infrastructures, staggered, but Modi provided leadership to the world during these crises.
“India, a country of more 130 crore people having only one testing laboratory, when Corona struck. The country was not producing even a single ventilator/ PPE kit. Our own industrialists produced 3 lakh ventilators in a year on Modi’s directions. India is now producing 5 lakh PPEs per day. Now, we have highest recovery and lowest mortality rate in the world”, said Nadda. He added, “We sent medicines to 130 countries. We have manufactured indigenous vaccine and 82 lakh Indians have been vaccinated so far, whereas we have made our vaccine available to 16 other countries.

“Whenever we had the NDA government in the Centre Himachal always brought in the main stream of development. Modi has given back the status of special category state to Himachal. Atal Tunnel Project, which was put in the cold storage by the previous government, was monitored by Modi himself after coming into the power, which is a reality now. The new roads of more than 14000 kms were constructed in boarder areas”, said national president of BJP. He instructed the workers to repeatedly tell people about the work done by BJP governments.

He addressed the workers by saying that they are the instrument of change. They should not become lethargic after achieving a goal. He congratulated workers for the brilliant results in panchayati elections.

State BJP president Suresh Kashyap, CM Jai Ram Thakur, ex-CM PK Dhumal, Union Minister Anurag Thakur MPs Indu Goswami and Kishan Kapoor were also present during his address.

Dharamshala: Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today accorded a warm welcome to National BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur on their arrival at Kangra Airport, Gaggal in Kangra district today.
Hundreds of people from various parts of the State greeted their leaders lined up on both sides of the road enroute to Dharamshala, who accepted the greetings by warmly waving from the open jeep.
