Over 1.7 lakh people availed emergency 108 Ambulance service across Punjab in calendar year 2021

Mohali, February 25, 2022:  Ziqitza Healthcare Limited responsible for handling emergency lifesaving cases across the state of Punjab has served an immediate  assistance to 1,70,362 people from January 2021 to December 2021 . The fleet of equipped 270 Ambulances and manned by capable staff continues to ensures that each  case is managed well by timely admission to the hospital by ensuring service in the golden hour and thereby saving precious lives. 108 Ambulance aims to give every patient the best possible emergency support. 

In line with the prime objective of serving people in distress, 108 centralized call centre plays a significant role by promptly assisting all the cases with strong support. By rendering selfless service to people in need, 108 Ambulance has worked round the clock, and in the span of 1 year, it  has provided medical assistance to over 17,531 accidental cases, handled over 56,161 pregnancy cases and served over 12,000 Covid-19 patients .

According to the Data , In Terms of Accident, Ludhiana reported Highest accidental cases i.e , 3869 , followed by Patiala second highest i.e , 2165  and Jalandhar on the third i.e. , 1777. In terms of Pregnancy Cases , In Ludhiana, 10, 749 expecting mothers were served, followed by Jalandhar,  4286  and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) i.e 4234.  

Ludhiana served Highest Covid Cases i.e, 2255 , followed by Patiala , 1136 and Jalandhar i.e , 1056.

108 Ambulances are fully equipped with emergency medical equipments to offer all facilities to patients in any emergency. Along with that, Medical EMTs and Ambulance Pilots are also fully trained to render treatment to the patient in need. These 108 Ambulances are available across all the districts and cities of Punjab. 

108 Ambulance has offered an elaborate range of services to the people of Punjab like creating  general public aware about effective first aid by organizing several First Responder Programs, kickstarting  demo drive sessions during winters, l creating job opportunities for Female EMT Staff, providing support to Covid-19 patients during covid pandemic etc. Despite Case Load, and despair times, 108 Ambulances  ensured it's services are available seamlessly 24×7. 

108 EMT staff continues to relentlessly serve people during the emergency situations, and most importantly rose up to the occasion whenever required, be it turning savior for expecting mothers , arriving timely at the place of mishap or helping avert tragedy. 108 EMT Staff has always ensured spontaneous primary treatment till hospital admission.
