Overall trophy for 17th annual athletic meet organised at PCTE win by BCA Final Year

Ludhiana: The sports ground of PCTE Group of Institutes was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere, as the students and faculty celebrated its final day of the 17th Annual Athletic Meet. The entire atmosphere reverberated with the echoes of applause of the ebullient and enthusiastic athletes where the overall Trophy of Athletic Meet 2020 was won by BCA Final Year.
Supreet from BBA 2Awas declared the Best Athlete Award in Men’s category,
Fanta   from BBA 1B was declared the Best Athlete Award in Women’s category

In Shot Put Finals (Women), the first position was bagged by Fanta from BBA 1B, second position was bagged by Prabhleen from BBA 2B and the third position was bagged by Anjala from B. Pharmacy 3rd Year. In Shot Put Finals (Men), the first position was bagged by Arjun Ghai from BBA 2A, second position was bagged by Bhawjeet  from BCA-3, and the third position was bagged by Terry from Btech 1st Year.
 In Long Jump (Women), the first position was bagged by Fanta from BBA 1B, the second position was bagged by Gurjot Kaur from Bio Tec 2nd Year and the third position was bagged by Simran Preet Kaur B. Pharma 2nd Year. In Long Jump (Men), Balkaran from BTTM 1st Year bagged the first position, the second position was bagged by Jagjeet Singh from Bsc.Agri 2nd Year and the third position was bagged by Seeisso from BCA 1 A
In Triple Jump (Men) the first position was bagged by Balkaran from BTTM1st Year, the second position was bagged by Jagjeet from Bsc Agri 2nd Year and the third position was bagged by Abhishek Sharma from Bcom 1A.
In 4*400 meters relay the first position was bagged by MLS-1& 2 Year, followed by BCA 3who bagged the second position and B pharmacy 3 bagged the third position.
 In 100 meters (Women), the first position was bagged by Fanta from BBA-1B, the second position was bagged by Sewa Kamara from BBA2B and the third position was bagged by Flora from BBA 1B. In 100 meters (Men) the first position was bagged by Supreet Singh from BBA 2A, the second position was bagged by Jose from BBA 1B and the third position was bagged Emmanuel from MLS-2.

Mr. Amitej Singh, Overall Coordinator, said that through such events, we help our students learn values of life which get imbibed into their thinking, thus helping them succeed in all walks of life. It gives me immense pleasure to see all the students participating in the event in large numbers.
Dr. K.N.S. Kang, Director General of PCTE Group of Institutes appreciated the efforts of athletes and said events like these help the students to develop their overall personality and motivated more students to participate on a regular basis to have a healthy lifestyle.
