PABI Startups get encouraging response at PAU Kisan Mela

Ludhiana, September 17, 2024: In addition to witnessing tremendous turnout of farmers, the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Kisan Mela, held on September 13 and 14, featured several innovative agribusiness startups from the Punjab Agri Business Incubator (PABI), showcasing their cutting-edge products and solutions. The startups including Green Affair Pvt Ltd, Dusky Tarte, B Treat, Dhaliwal Honey Pvt Ltd, Master Brain Pvt Ltd, and Cogneesol Agtech Pvt Ltd, had significant outreach, interacting with the farmers and demonstrating the value of their products.

Dr MS Bhullar, Director of Extension Education; Dr TS Riar, Principal Investigator of PABI, and Dr Poonam Sachdev, Co-Principal Investigator of PABI, praised the startups for providing innovative solutions, needed by the Punjab's agricultural sector.

The Kisan Mela was a vital platform for the startups to connect directly with the farming community, observed Dr Bhullar, while lauding the encouraging response to the startups.

The startups also expressed their satisfaction with the event, receiving valuable feedback and orders for their products from the farmers.
