Padma Bhushan Dr S.S Johl acknowledges coffee table book depicting spiritual journey of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib
The book has been authored by High Court Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu
Ludhiana: Padma Bhushan Dr. S.S Johl, Chancellor Central University, Punjab acknowledged the Coffee Table Book titled, “Spiritual Journey of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib”, authored by Punjab based Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu, dedicated to 400th Birth Anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib. Padma Bhushan Dr. S.S Johl applauded the dedicated efforts of Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu and stated that the relevance and timing of the coffee table book being most appropriate and described the Coffee Table Book to be of immense importance as it depicts the pious journey of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib” from his Birth till Martyrdom through pictorial visuals of the Historical Gurudwaras, where Ninth Sikh Guru visited during his life span, i.e. Guru ka Mahal (Amritsar), Gurudwara Vayah Asthan (Kartarpur, District Jalandhar), Gurudwara Bhora Sahib (Baba Bakala), Gurudwara Thara Sahib (Amritsar), Gurudwara Guru Ke Mahal (Bhora Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gurudwara Thara Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gururwara Dukh Niwaran Patiala, Gurudwara Guru Ke Bagh, Patna Sahib, Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib (Chandni Chowk, Delhi), Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib (Delhi), Gurudwara Bibangarh Sahib (Ropar), Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gurudwara Akal Bunga Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib).
Padma Bhushan Dr. Johl further stated that we are indeed fortunate that Harpreet Sandhu through his passion for photography has enabled us to have glimpse of the Sacred Shrines where Guru Teg Bahadur Ji left his footprints and applauded the efforts of Harpreet Sandhu who spent major time picturizing these Historical Gurudwaras and dedicated this pious work to the sacred memory of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, who has rather left deep imprint of his personality in the annals of our history.
After previewing the Coffee Table Book Padma Bhushan Dr. Johl endorsed his meaningful message describing it to be a mammoth effort by Harpreet Sandhu, which will be remembered in times to come, as it beautifully portrays the "Spiritual Journey of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib".
