PAINTING & SLOGAN WRITING COMPETITIONS ORGANISED ON OCCASION OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

Ludhiana, May 30, 2019: The Punjab Pollution Control Board, Ludhiana today celebrated the world Environment Day at U.S.P.C Jain Public School, Chandigarh Road, here. About 150 students of various Government & Private schools participated in the painting and slogan writing competition organised on the occasion.
The participants painted the picture and writing the slogans on the “World Environment Day, 2019” theme “Beat Air Pollution”. The Chief Guest Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU Ludhiana distributed the prizes to the students bagged, Ist , IInd and IIIrd position. Ms. Satbir Kaur of Eco Sikh NGO interacted with the students and aware them from pollution sources. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Mrs Viny Malhotra, Principal, U.S.P.C Jain Public School, Er Paramjit Singh, Er G.S Gill, Er R.K Goyal, Er Ashok Garg, besides several others.
