PAIW Corporate Cricket Cup-2013 Second Edition begins

Ludhiana, July 21, 2013: After successfully organising PAIW Corporate Cricket Cup-2012, Punjab Agro Implements Works is going to organise 2nd season of the PAIW Corporate Cup- 2013, starting from July 20 2013.

Sports play a vital role in creating harmony and keeping our society healthy giving it the strength of Steel. Cricket being a popular sport attracts the young and the elders equally. In order to promote the sports among the Corporate and to make it an inherent part of corporate cultures, Punjab Agro Implements Works- Channel Partners of Tata Steel, took the initiative of organising a Cricket Tournament for corporate of Ludhiana.

We have successfully organised this tournament in 2012 and this is the second edition starting in July 2013. Sports can play a vital role in eradicating the menace of drugs by diverting their minds towards sports, said the organisers.

 The event will be managed by Sportz Entertainment Media and Co-Sponsored by Era Jewellers, Imperial Golf Estate and Garyson Motors.

There are 24 corporate teams participating in the T-10 tournament. Teams from some of the renowned corporates like Kangaroo Industries, SK Bikes, Eastman Industries, Asian Cranes, Centax Fabrics,  Imperial Golf Estate, HDFC, Monte Carlo, Neva Garments, Apollo Hospital, TATA Steels, Parekh Group, Jewelers Association, Sacred Heart School Staff, TRB Exports, The Brew Masters, La Sovereign Cycles, Dossil Fashion, DOCOMO, Matrix Cellular, Dainik Bhaskar, Happy Steels, Ganga Acrowools.

All the matches will be played in the Evenings as per below schedule.

League Matches- On 20th to 23rd July 2013

Quarter Finals - 22ndJuly 2013

Semi Final & Final Matches – 27th July 2013

 Timings for all the matches will be – 4 PM to 11 PM

 Winning team will be awarded with cash prize and a Trophy “PAIW Corporate Cricket Cup”.
