Pakistani drone shot down, 3.5 kg heroin recovered

Ferozepur, August 23, 2023: In a joint operation, the troops belonging to 136 battalion of BSF along with Army and the Special Task Force (STF) sleuths shot down a Pakistani drone near border outpost ( BOP) HK Tower in this sector.
As per information, the Pakistani drone had entered 885 meters inside the Indian territory near Hajara Singh Wala village following which the BSF troops on duty opened fire towards the drone. Later, the entire area was cordoned, and search operation was launched during which the drone was found lying in the fields and four packets of heroin weighing 3.5 kg were recovered from the spot. The drone had come from the side of Sultan Shaheed border outpost in Pakistan, revealed the sources.
