Panjab University celebrates as two of its students Manu Bhakar and Sarabjot Singh won a medal at Olympic Games Paris 2024 by clinching bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed event.
Chandigarh, July 30, 2024: Panjab University celebrates as two of its students Manu Bhakar and Sarabjot Singh won a medal at Olympic Games Paris 2024 by clinching bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed event.
Manu Bhakar took admission in DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh in the session 2022-23 as a student of MA Public Administration and presently she took admission in Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication for the session 2024-25. Sarabjot Singh is currently pursuing Post Graduate Diploma(Marketing Management) from DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh affiliated to PU.
Prof. Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh congratulated Manu Bhakar and Sarabjot Singh and their family on their remarkable achievement. She also stated that University always endeavors to provide the best sports facility and environment to the players so that they can bring laurels to the nation.
Vice Chancellor also announced that Manu Bhakar and Sarabjot Singh will be honored in the forthcoming Panjab University convocation.
