Chandigarh, September 24, 2023: Panjab University, Chandigarh conducted Ph.D. Entrance Test 2023 on Sunday. There were two papers, Paper I (Objective Type) and Paper II (Subjective Type).
The timings of Paper –I Objective Type was from 10.00 am to 11.00 am and Paper II Subjective Type was from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm (for all faculties except UIAMS Deptt.) and 2.30pm to 4.30 pm (for UIAMS Deptt. only). Total 04 centres were created at Panjab University Campus, Chandigarh. The detailed percentage of the candidates appeared in this entrance test subject wise is as under:

Total 58.33% (627 out of 1075) candidates appeared in Paper – I Objective type, and 57.49% (618 out of 1075) appeared in Paper II Subjective type. Flying squad and observers were sent to every centre for routine checking and smooth conduct of the test. The test was conducted satisfactorily and no untoward incident was reported from any of the examination centres.
