Panjab University Chandigarh proceed for another historical achievement by signing a MOU with Border Security force

Chandigarh, December 27, 2022: Panjab University Chandigarh proceed for another historical achievement by signing a MOU with Border Security force. The MOU is signed today i.e. on 27.12.2022 after signing of documentation by Prof. Yajvender Pal Verma, registrar Panjab University, Chandigarh on behalf of Panjab University, Chandigarh & by P.V Ramasastry, IPS, Additional Director General head quarter Spl DG (WC) BSF Chandigarh on behalf of BSF.
 
The main objective of MOU is intent for academic collaboration for mutually sharing sports science facilities and services with a vision to improve the performance of athletes and at the same time conducting certificate course for the BSF personal and Panjab University, Chandigarh. Sports performance Enhancement Centre (SPEC) has state of the art sports performance enhancement facilities especially for preventing and managing sports injuries with an expertise in different fields of sports and physical training, SPEC BSF conducts in service courses with a focus on optimization of an athlete’s potential as well as scientifically improving existing training methodologies. The intent is to create a pool of skilled professionals who are capable of infusing the latest scientific methodologies with the existing conventional techniques, leading to an overall enhanced performance and a better injury management.  Panjab University on the other hand is a potential sports and academic hub of India and known for producing many world class athletes and students. The Panjab University will provide the necessary guidance/assistance and affiliation to the courses being run at SPEC BSF, Chandigarh.
 
Hence the inter exchange of academic & Sports social platform with each other will benefit for all. The upcoming player of Panjab University will get benefit with SPEC and able to scientific training program under scientific expert.
