Panjab University Girls Hostel No 6 adopt trees planted in fruit garden

Chandigarh: On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, students of Panjab University Girls Hostel No. 6 adopt trees planted in the fruit garden.

They celebrated the National Girl Child Day and vowed that whatever trees they have adopted, they will take care of them very well and will grow them, so that they and the girl students coming forward can benefit from them.  Warden Dr. Manisha Sharma said that today, by keeping this program, children should develop a sense of belonging to trees and be environment friendly.

There are many types of fruit trees in the fruit garden of the hostel. At its inauguration, VC Sir also said that the trees should be adopted by the students.  All the staff and children of the hostel participated in a great interest.
