Panjab University invites applications for M.Phil & Ph.D

Chandigarh, May 27, 2016: The Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has invited applications for the M.Phil & Ph.D in the Faculties of Arts; Languages; Science; Business Management & Commerce; Design & Fine Arts; Education; Engineering and Law.

PU Spokesman informed that the Prospectus and application form has become available on the Panjab University Website i.e. http://phdadmissions.puchd.ac.in. The admissions would be based on entrance test, which would be conducted on July 24, 2016.

The Last date for submission of online application to generate the bank challan is July 4, 2016 and Last date for submission of fee in any branch of SBI is July 7 upto 4 PM.The Last date for submission the fee details and uploading of photograph, signature with the rest of the information on the website is July 10, 2016.

E-Admit cards would be available on the website on July 16, 2016. There will be no physical communication for this purpose.
The written test shall be followed by a mandatory interview in the form of interaction to be organized by the concerned school / department/ institute/ Centres, as the case may be. At the time of interview, the candidates would be expected to discuss their research area. Interview is essential for enrolment in M.Phil. & Ph.D. programme and selection would be solely based on the performance of the candidates in the Interview,PU Spokesman clarified.

Chandigarh, May 27, 2016: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh would soon announce the schedule for centralized admission for the B.Com-I class in various colleges of Chandigarh and Department of Evening Studies at PU Campus.
Coordinator for Centralized Admission for B.Com I for the session 2016-17, Prof Sanjay Kaushik informed that the process to decide the admission schedule has started and the schedule for the B.Com-I admission would be announced next week.
