While addressing a large gathering of faculty members, non-teaching staff, researchers, students, and distinguished guests at the PU campus, Prof. Vig paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters. She emphasised that the day reminds us of our duties to serve the cause of nation-building.

Referring to various recent initiatives and achievements of the University, Prof. Vig said that Panjab University continues to be recognised as the hub of learning and knowledge in northern India.
