Panjab University Student Selected for National Environment Youth Parliament 2025
Abhay Dogra, a second-year MSc student from the Department of Environment Studies at Panjab University, has been selected to participate in the prestigious 3rd National Environment Youth Parliament (NEYP) 2025 going to held at Jaipur.
Chandigarh, December 22, 2024: Abhay Dogra, a second-year MSc student from the Department of Environment Studies at Panjab University, has been selected to participate in the prestigious 3rd National Environment Youth Parliament (NEYP) 2025 going to held at Jaipur.
Dogra emerged as one of the successful candidates from regional level competition for state of Haryana, Punjab and Delhi.
Professor Suman Mor, Environment Nodal Officer and a professor at Panjab University, commended him at his achievement. "We are immensely proud of Abhay's selection. The National Environment Youth Parliament offers a unique opportunity for young environmentalists to engage in critical debate and contribute to innovative solutions to pressing environmental challenges," she said. Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Chairperson of the Department of Environment Studies, emphasised that "This selection reflects not only Abhay's dedication but also highlights our department's commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious youth”.
