Chandigarh, January 2, 2025: Panjab University’s Boxing Team (Men) has bagged overall third position in the All India Inter University Boxing Championship 2024.
The All India Inter University Boxing Championship concluded today at Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda.
PU boxers delivered an outstanding performance by showcasing their dedication and talent. In the 80 kg weight category, Akshay clinched the gold medal while, Akshat secured a silver medal in the 57 kg weight category. Additionally, four players from the team qualified for the Khelo India University Games.
Panjab University Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig has congratulated the medal winning players, Coaches, the team members and Director Sports Dr. Rakesh Malik for the achievements.
