Parliament House Visit by students of Centre for Social Work Panjab University
The students of the Centre for Social Work, Panjab University Chandigarh visited the Parliament House, New Delhi on the 19th November as a part of their educational tour.
Chandigarh November 20, 2024: The students of the Centre for Social Work, Panjab University Chandigarh visited the Parliament House, New Delhi on the 19th November as a part of their educational tour.
Chairperson Professor Monica Munjial Singh said that this was a lifetime experience for the students where the Director PK Mallick and his team explained in detail about the functioning and role of the Parliament and its importance for the country and its citizens.
Dr Gaurav Gaur faculty and Prashant Sharma from the department found the visit to be really motivating for the students. This initiative was the first of its kind by Panjab University, Chandigarh. Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies (PRIDE) department was very cooperative to make this visit a grand success.
