Patriotic Initiative - PR Community’s unique way to extend solidarity to Indian Army

Hyderabad, October 9, 2016: Public Relations Community in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad extended Solidarity to Indian Army.

The various Communication and Public Relations(PR) professionals working in different organisations in city came together under the banner of PRCI(Public Relations Council of India) to extend Solidarity to the Indian Army for their recent surgical strikes.

Sporting White T-Shirts with slogans "Salute to Indian Army", fifteen PR and Communication Professionals saluted the Indian Army in the backdrop of iconic monument Charminar on Sunday early morning.

Also it is believed that today is 425th Birth Day of Charminar. Though it is not clear, simply from popular belief is taken into account, then 425 years ago, on this day, Hyderabad's most iconic monument, Charminar, was born. What could be the best occasion to salute the army from the historic Charminar on its 425th Birthday informed Aparna, President Elect of PRCI Hyderabad Chapter.

“We the PR professionals and Citizens of this country are stand united with the Army and the country” said Ms. Aparna.

TVS Narayana, Kalpana, Subba Reddy, Ravi, D.Ramchandram, Jayaram, Naga Seshu, Kirthi, Anirudh, Veersh, Andnad and others participated in the program.

“We all PR and Communication Professionals are proud of our country. Though we are small in number, we held this program to support Army, express our solidarity. PR Community plays a very vital role in forming up Public Opinion. And we want to be in forefront to do the same in extending our solidarity to Indian Security Forces”, Aparna added.

We are also planning to handed over a memorandum on behalf of PR Community and fellow PR and Communication Professionals to Chief of Armed Forces in Hyderabad for forward submission to Chief of the Army Staff and forwarded copies of the memorandum to Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and heads of all paramilitary forces informed TVS Narayan, Director, Natonal Executuve, PRCI.

Today i participated in this small function to say thank you Army for their wonderful job. It is a feel good factor and great feeling for me informed, Subba Reddy, another participant in the program.
