Jalandhar. August 10, 2024: A significant patriotic art portrait dedicated to 78th Independence Day depicting the tallest Flag of India and digitized portrait of Father of the Nation - Mahatma Gandhi installed at JCP Attari border was today released at the Border Security Force Headquarters Jalandhar by Dr. Atul Fulzele, IPS, Inspector General, Border Security Force Punjab  along with Deputy Inspector General BSF Madan Lal, Deputy Inspector General Operations Seturam, Deputy Inspector General /G A. K Vidyardhi, 2IC P P Singh and Commandant BSF Jaswinder Singh. The Patriotic portrait has been compiled by Punjab’s eminent Author, Heritage Promoter & Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu (Former Additional Advocate General Punjab) showcasing the meaningful quote of Mahatma Gandhi, “The Future depends on what we do in the Present”, prepared with aim to highlight our nation’s patriotic spirit as a guiding light for the younger generation to always acknowledge that the great freedom fighters contribution towards country’s independence and value National Flag as it is our pride and symbol of freedom.  
Dr. Atul Fulzele, IPS, Inspector General, Border Security Force Punjab Frontiers acknowledged the dedicated patriotic pictorial work initiated by Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu dedicated to 78th Independence Day as a lasting emblem of Nation’s legacy, encouraging reflection and dialogue on the values of truth and perseverance. He stated that the portrait depicts the monument of tallest tricolour flag of India, which stands tall as a testament to our rich heritage, symbolizes the unity and diversity that make India truly incredible as well as the digitized portrait of Father of Nation of Mahatma Gandhi marking a poignant reminder regarding his contribution to the nation’s struggle for freedom highlighting Tricolour as the symbol of our Nation’s pride
