PAU apprises farm women of social media platforms

Aiming at keeping the farm women abreast of digital revolution, the experts of the Skill Development Centre, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), called upon the women members of PAU Kisan Club to remain widely awake and stay connected with PAU via social media. As many as 45 rural women attended the camp, held under the guidance of Dr MS Bhullar, Director of Extension Education.

Ludhiana, January 4, 2024: Aiming at keeping the farm women abreast of digital revolution, the experts of the Skill Development Centre, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), called upon the women members of PAU Kisan Club to remain widely awake and stay connected with PAU via social media. As many as 45 rural women attended the camp, held under the guidance of Dr MS Bhullar, Director of Extension Education.

Dr Rupinder Kaur, Associate Director of Skill Development and Coordinator of women’s wing, urged the farm women to regularly visit PAU’s Instagram, Facebook, YouTube channels; X (twitter); Kisan App and website www.pau.edu for vital information and agricultural knowledge.

Dr Jagbir Rehal, a food technologist, demonstrated the making of amla chutney, jam and murabba; and advised them to avoid using food preservatives.

Expert Dr Kuldeep Kaur proposed a vote of thanks.
