PAU to conduct various trainings in February

Ludhiana, February 4, 2015: The Directorate of Extension Education of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) will conduct various training courses in February.

Divulging contours, Dr R.S.Sidhu, Director of Extension Education said that an advance training course on “Beekeeping” will be organized from February 9-13. The agriculture development officers (ADOs), horticulture development officers (HDOs) and scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) will participate in the course. Another training course on “Macrame Knots and other Weaving Techniques for Craft Development” will also be hosted from February 9-13 for KVK home scientists, he informed. Further, Dr Sidhu said that a course on “Flower Cultivation and Landscaping” will be organized for the HDOs, district extension specialists and KVK scientists on February 12 and 13. Besides, a training programme on “Precision Technologies for Water Saving and its Recharging” will be held on February 19 and 20 for SCOs and ADOs.
